Well, this story of LUMP was very inspiring to "get 'er done!" Neat car, neat story, thanks for documenting your journey with Lump.
Thanks!

Well.......that's that!
So you must of thought twice about fixin' her up, eh John?
Any thoughts/plans on starting a camper resto thread?
Shasta, painted like Lump. I think thats doable, and would look Kool going down the road.:glasses7:
Wow it sounds like you have your work cut out for you. The bumper shock method of drain and pull back and weld is an old demolition derby thing. It works and will help keep your bumpers on if you lose it one day on the freeway and push people out of Lumps way.
Great to see your ideas and skillz at work John, Lump couldn't have a better caretaker than you. BTW hello to ABB.
what an interesting thread i just now sat here for 40 minutes seeing this.....the captions on the pics are a genius touch and what a lucky car to end up in your driveway, its nice to see someone who is kind to 4 doors, i have never had a 4 door car bcoz they are hard to find but they sure do look good.
Wow, better fix that one up,4 door or not. Be a nice criuser. WAY too nice to part out!!!
I'd get rid of those marker lights while you are at it.
seeing this thread got me motivated....im now getting my 69 dart running...after seeing this thread and the amount of motivation he had to get the car processed and to get it where he wants it.......motivational!!!
mY 69 Dart is a 2 door hardtop and its in pretty good shape but when i got it, it was missing the engine and trans, so thats changing today .....im dropping in a slant six and should be on the road by this time next week. :thumleft::thumleft:
