I thought one of the photos showed. With the early wheels I could stick my hand up to my last knuckles next to the lower quarter lip, so ? 3/4" on the "wide" side and a bit less on the other, 5/8?
It was "just right." On a real hard corner, the tires don't rub, with a full tank and "some weight" in the trunk. I have not, however, tried it with passengers
(Post 22 is the early style wheels. I only had two, they are black, and I wanted grey, hence buying the set of later, grey ones. I have never run the grey ones yet, as the car is now "down for paint." They will require spacers front and rear.)
BEAR IN MIND that I'm using a Versailles axle, so this has no relevance with Mopar rear axles.
