Sorry Jethro Tull, Bob Dylan, Neil Young are from my time frame. But they SUCK!
Actually, factually,.... He's really good, there's a documentary with him , and Jimmy Page... It's... Interesting....I think the White Stripes ended up with too much notoriety to be "unappreciated," and I was a huge fan in the early 2000's, but once I saw this I was hooked. You'll want to watch it until the end.

Atlanta Rythem Section
My first concert was Marshall Tucker and Atlanta Rythem Section !!!I was workin in a two stall service station in 1982 and the owner told me one day to pull in this old green GMC step side for a tune up. It was cold as heck that day and we had the gas heater on in the shop. The customer was standin next to the heater with the shop owner as I pulled the truck in. I got out and was immediately introduced to Ronnie Hammond, lead singer for ARS. We stood around the heater and burned one and then I tuned his truck up. I kept in touch with him right up until his untimely death. He was a super nice guy and one hell of a singer. Always loved that band.
