Pulled the Slant 6 from my 71 Swinger. The seller said that #6 was a little low on compression. lol

I have a 318, and everything necessary to do the swap. I think. Engine, trans, motor mounts, V8 K member, rear trans mount, and torsion bars, V8 ignition and distributor, drive shaft, radiator...

It's been a few decades since I've swapped a /6 for a V8... Have I forgotten anything?

..little hole like that - what's the problem!?? - these days you don't need to swap the K frame - I think it's Schumacher that makes conversion engine mounts, and those /6 torsion bars are fine too (well, I guess they could be "tired" and need to be replaced anyway..)

sad to see another slant bite the dust......if it were me, I would slap another slant in its place and go on for some more happy miles :)
