Duane Porter, he's on Moparts as Fast68Plymouth. He's got a top notch rep as a head porter and cam guy. Brian @ IMM, IIRC he's OU812 here is another builder that I'd talk to, he built my current engine and I'm happy with it. Schneider does good work. I swapper a Howards solid FT for a Schneider in my Dart and the acceleration difference is night and day. Ken's a great guy too, but he is limited to the profile catalog he has.Harold Brookshire was what I would call the best. Sadly, he is no longer with us. If you look at the Lunati VooDoo designs in the camshaft type of your choice, you're looking at Harold's last designs. He was perhaps the best on the planet while he was alive. Ken at Oregon Cam Grinders is another good choice. He's still alive so you can actually talk to him. I forget the guy at Schneider......paging @MOPAROFFICIAL he'll know who to tel you to get in touch with at Schneider. They are also good.
I never call anybody to pick out a grind. I do it myself. I may call to get a general direction, but in the end, it's my money and it's my decision.
Jim has one of the best reputations in the business.Schneider does good work. I swapper a Howards solid FT for a Schneider in my Dart and the acceleration difference is night and day. Ken's a great guy too, but he is limited to the profile catalog he has.
JIM @ Racer Brown just sent me a solid FT to try, and the lobes have a very broad nose.
