Stop in for a cup of coffee

The distributor is it aluminum or cast iron? Been so long I forgot what I sent you can be either.

Okay, now this is weird. I was checking my timing on this and noticed that the cap on the dizzy is rocking as it turns over! Both snaps are on and good. It’s fully seated down and yes the dizzy bolt is tight. I can shake it and it doesn’t budge but under cranking it is. Stumped

Need the one that has the slot in the cap then. Hey take pics also next time you work on it if you don't figure it out with the cap on and off.

Hey any one have a gm with a straight six with points? Have a 10 box of mopar points for it if needed.

Only GM motor I have is a 283 small block for a ratrod build for a friend. Looking for ratrod motors is how I found my Dart.
So not me Ray.

So good news, my Christmas present came in today! Courtesy of one Daren Kirkpatrick

Banding. Some of it is in the overhead and you have to be half contortionist to get to them.
We painted all our pipes by color on ammonia systems Unless they were insulated, just tagged by function and pressure range. I had contractors do a lot of the painting. But I did re-tag most of valves myself. Could barely find some let alone get in position to put tag on. Often the insulation runs right to the valve and then there is a ball of ice encapsulating the valve. All of which were supposed to be exercised annually. Would really suck to actually have to use some of them.

I saw something like that for sale a few weeks ago. They cool.
Throw in the the bigfoot gas pedal and dimmer and its done!
Yep probably this one. I’ve never seen one quite like it before. Most were larger and only two or three openings. It’s an OLD Cal Customs one. The cooler part is, it fits under the polaras hood!

My daughter made chocolate truffles earlier tonight. Good thing I don’t have much of a sweet tooth!
