Well, I didn't do what I said I was going to do. I worked on my cage for a couple hours.
I noticed something when I welded the US cartool leaf spring relocation mounts, I was burning through the floorboards in a few areas so I thought "well that's a weak link" so I welded some 6×6 steel plates inside on those 2 areas and connect my roll cage to the plates, it should add a good amount of strength in that area.

Well I had a weird thing happen last Thursday.
I noticed YouTube music was charging me money every month for the last 3 years.
Anyways, I got on Google and complained, also to my bank, my bank recovered all my money and YouTube sent me an email saying, after further review your comments didn't break community guidelines. Lol 3 years kicked off and now I can make videos.

Now he can take the refund from you tube AND start making some videos to afford it!, Not sure I want to know what kind of videos though lol.
I could just put the camera on a stand and work.
I'm sure that will be really fun to watch lol.
I could've had a video of 2 cat rescues today

Yesterday I spent some time organizing my garage so I could work on my car.
Today I'm doing the passenger side super stock wheel wells.
It's a pretty decent day so far until I started cutting and found some serious mud work lol, maybe a gallon on this quarter panel, I'm sure the door has some too. That doesn't belong on my car, I will fix it properly.

I should have checked something before I bent the tabs over to make the lip.
I am 3/8ths lower on the passenger side.
I'm sure that's fine for an original 68 ss dart but not for me, I'll fix that.

Since I got my wife hooked on Seattle Seahawks football I have to watch most of the game with her....it's some bonding thing lol.
I started prepping my tub for removal, all the spot welds. Funny thing is there was 1/2 as many on this side... score!

Well if I ever needed a reminder that I love doing metal work I got it today, after stripping off about a pound of body filler and in a couple areas as thick as 3/4 inch deep, I did some strategic chisel work while chipping this body filler I noticed I was moving metal so I did pull some metal back where I was close, then I used my stud welder and pulled the quarter panel out really close, I still will do hammer and dolly work because I don't want to add weight to my racecar. Anyways I got my fix for today.

Twin porcupines! Had a similar (disappointing) find on my duster…thick mud and all. Still working through it. Love following your build, keep up the good work!

That's looking, thanks for following along.
Do you have a thread going?
No thread on it, the little spare time I have goes to just working on it. Finally got the block back from machine on Wednesday (pistons took 4 months which knocked me way back in line at the shop), so have that to distract me now too. May start a couple threads now that it’s getting cold (car and engine).

Parts are a pita , I have to deal with that crap daily. That would be cool to have another thread to follow.
