Just building a mild 318 engine to replace the 273 in my 65 Valiant Signet(111 wheel base). I want to keep it stock looking for sure using valve covers and exhaust manifolds

I think it was you that I purchased a LD4B manifold. I was going to put it on my 273. I have changed my mind and have bought a 318. Now i would like a pair of 302 heads. Do you have any or know of any for sale?

I have managed to get an LD4B intake. Right now I'm using a 500 cfm Edelbrock. Do you think that's enough carb? Seems like a lot of people are using 600's. Haven't been able to try any engine work as It's getting some paint.
Does anyone have pictures of the 4 sp shiftplate. I'm not sure of the real home for this part. Its on the floor in front of the shifter. I've seen it in pictures but never in a car,

If it's like my 67 GTX column shift auto, then there is an approximately 1/4 " pin coming off the steering column that rotates when you shift. Its a plastic insert that always breaks off. I tapped the hole and threaded in a steel pin that works perfectly. I think I have pics if that's the...
Just reliving my childhood. I factory ordered a 1966 Valiant Signet HiPo 4sp . Loved that car and only drove it for 18 months. Looked for another for decades and finally settled on the 65. I love driving this one as well.
