Parts car is sitting on the car hauler and the yellow car is in the garage. The grill is in the basement. I'll take some pictures of the trunk and insides, however I got to take the carpet out. -Dave

I did drop the tank,,has brand new pick-up and screen...

previous owner replaced ballast resistor...choke looks brand new...with the key on,tester lights-up on one side of this little round gizmo,,comes from there,gos to the thermostat heat choke,,shows no power to the choke....ran hot wire to the choke from the batt.,choke opened ownly about...

bought a 76 A-body...Ran great for 3 days,,,,but now it starts right up,runs for about 10 seconds then dies?! Previous owner replaced carb,gas tank,pick-up,all gas lines....Horn wire was unhooked,,because it blows when the the key switch is turned on....I installed a electric fuel pump,,,still...

cost of each wheel 1/8th"x4" wide and have it rolled $26.& change,4ft. long..I used 5-1/2" rim..added 4"s came up with a 9-1/2" rim..Unless you like the look and extra weight,,,,i would add a little more$$ & go w/aluminium..

Were talking 1/8th" thick material,,,diameter of pipe goes by inside diameter,,,,until it gets to 10" or larger then it`s measured by outside diameter...theres;10",,12",,16",,20"no half size..sch.40 pipe is 1/4"thick,sch.80 is1/2" thick and so on...i`ve seen sch.20 but then were talking duct...

Then type in (wheel shells)....If i ever make another set of wide rims,i would grab a pair of these.... same page scroll down to;( widening stock wheels ) see what " crackedback" has to say,,

Speedway moters sells what they call wheel (shells) Buuuut....w/ only 12-5/8" inside diameter.. 8x15 10x15 12x15 14 x15...then you weld your centers in

Good idea,,a man has to improvise w/ what he has,,,I was wondering those 15" space saver spares are 4" ? I`ll check wifes car if she let`s me..

I agree! (money part) most pipe welders have to take welding test ,,,for every job..and their all different,, Once you pass the pull test,you have a job,but every weld you make in field..then it has to pass x-ray..that`s why most pipe welders are pre-madonnas...It`s not unusal for one to have...
