Thanks for the reply. I have camquest, but it confuses me even more. I guess my real question is what is the most lift I can get, with only a spring change. Most cam cards are based on 1.5 rockers, but I think the magnum heads have 1.6.

Thanks for the info it was a good read. I am just looking for the best setup with my combo. It is a street car, may take it down a 1/8th one day just to see what it will run. I am looking for more power between idle and 5000 rpm's.

Thanks 2 Darts. After doing a little more thinking, I going to go with the 3.90 gears for now. If it is to much I will replace them later. Hopefully that will work better with that converter. What would be a good cam to run?

Will I notice that big of a difference between the 2.45 and 3.21? Will the converter be alright with a 3.21?

Thanks for the reply! To be completely honest I am cheap. I needed a converter to get the car on the road and a friend sold it to me for $50. I do plan on replacing the stock cam sometime this coming winter.

Just had it done, $60 to cut and balance it.

I think you can use a car mount for the drivers side and a truck mount on the passenger side.
