    Magnum 318 carb conversion

What parts/things do I need to do to an EFI 5.2l Magnum engine in order to make it run carburated? I know I need: Intake and carb, fuel pump, Schumaker motor mount conversion kit (slant six to Magnum). Already done: 10" spindles and 10.8" front disk conversion. With the fuel pump, is...

    Engine ID help

Huh. Checked the VIN on the engine, which was wrong, and best I can get out of the decoder is 6-passenger wagon. Everything else comes up invalid. Is this normal?

    Engine ID help

I'm forced to sell it in order to pay for repair parts to the slant 6, and guys keep wanting to know what it's out of. I'd like to be able to say for certain, "Oh, it came out of (likely a Volare, Aspen, Valiant, Dart)" in an authoratative, Ron L. Howard-like booming voice. "I don't know" is...

    Engine ID help

All, Is there a way to identify which car a given engine came out of? I have a 2bbl 1973 318, and want to know what it came out of. The seller says it came out of a Cuda, but he doesn't know if it's the original, and I want to know. The numbers I have found on the engine so far are: On the...

    S6/318 opinion

All, Bit of an issue. The '75 slant 6 in my '69 Valiant has spun a bearing. My friends and I can't tell which, mains or rod bearings, without pulling the engine due to clearance issues. Some may not be aware, the S6 centerlink is straight, so even getting the oil pan out is a big PITA...

Painless or make my own ?

I've heard (and seen) good things about Rebel wiring harnesses. $150+, depending on how many circuits you want on the fuse box-I think up to 20 circuits are possible. Worth looking into, anyway. The one car I've seen with it, a chopped up '57 Chevy, the guy loved working with it. Claimed it was...

    Good Morning!

Thanks for the welcome, all! BBP 10" discs were the first thing I did up front. Like the saying goes,"It don't matter how fast you can go; unless you can stop, you're still roadkill." One of the speed-shop guys up here is big on that one... So aside from a Schumaker kit for the motor...

    Good Morning!

New guy checking in! Some of the people over at slantsix recommended FABO, so I'm checking it out. I am working a 69 Plymouth Valiant 4dr. Currently, I'm trying to switch from a slant six (because it's trashed) to a 318. I know I'll need motor mounts and a radiator, but I can't seem to find...
