My assembly is out of the car. Did you just flatten out the lip on the flange that has the bumper stop slot, and then weld a thicker piece to it? Why more than one stop bolt?
I like your basic approach better than the Modern Drivelines compound linkage -- I like to keep things simple. I guess the Modern Drivelines design has lower pedal pressure. How is the pedal pressure with your 7/8 inch cylinder? I could go with a 7/8 cylinder, but a 3/4 inch cylinder is recommended for the hydraulic throw out bearing (I have to use a hydraulic throw out bearing, because, for a small block and T56 Magnum, no one makes a correct height bell housing that has a fork opening -- only slots for hydraulic lines).
