If he's not careful with that trigger finger he could cause some more problems. Smoke machines put out 1- 3 psi. I'm willing to be he's putting a lot more than that through it with his air gun.

So water from the hood drips into the plug holes, makes its way past the threads into the combustion chamber?

    Radiator overheating problems F-150

The triton head problems have been greatly exaggerated. The first problem was part of the spark plug breaking off in the head due to carbon buildup. Sounds like a disaster, doesn't it? Not really, though. Go get Lisle plug extractor (about 100 bucks) and 20-30 minutes later you're good to go...

    Dodge stratus

It will definitely not be a small job, for sure. You'll have to swap the pcm and wiring harness with the new engine. You might not have to swap the tranny, but you probably will along with it's tcm. The deal breaker will be the CAN bus communication systems. If they both use the same system...

    Nissan Pathfinder Brake problem

Wheel cylinders = 20-30 bucks for 2 and less than 100 bucks installed. ABS module = 250-500 used (if you can find one) or 1000-2000 new and probably over 200 bucks installation... just sayin

    Nissan Pathfinder Brake problem

I'm sorry if I stepped on your toes. It wasn't intended. I wasn't trying to say the shop your car is at is incompetent. I reread my post and I'll admit it was quite easy to interpret it that way.

    Nissan Pathfinder Brake problem

it really doesn't sound like abs to me, either. The only ways I can think of that an abs module would do this is if a check ball was stuck inside the hydraulic part of the module or a solenoid is stuck on. neither one of these problems would change if you unplugged the module. If I was you I...

    Nissan Pathfinder Brake problem

"When they unplug the anti-lock brake module, the brakes work fine." Why can't you just leave the abs module unplugged? You would have regular brakes like back in the day. It could also be your wheel cylinders sucking in air.

    Immediate Ideas Needed

If the resistor fixes the problem you should go ahead and replace the blower motor, too. When the bearings in the blower motor start to go it causes the motor to pull more amps. The higher amperage causes the resistor to fail. HTH

Average life of PT Cruiser timing belt ?

Sorry, but it is an interference engine. My bad. I have never seen one pop an engine (bend the valves) after a timing belt failure. I've asked around some of my tech services and get conflicting info whether it is or isn't interference so I would assume it is.

Average life of PT Cruiser timing belt ?

they should be changed around 80k, but I wouldn't sweat it too much. These are not interference engines so if it does break it will not damage your engine. When you do replace it Goodyear is making some neat timing belt kits that come with everything you'll need (except the cam and crank seals...

Crazy camber after tie-rod end replacement?

It sounds like you're toe is so positive that the tires are folded in causing crazy camber problems. If you want to get it "goof enough" to make it to a shop scrib a line down the center of both tires and get the same measurement on the back side from tire to tire as you do on the front side...

When me and my buddies go to car shows it's the cars like the one in your profile pic that we talk about afterwards. The super nice cars are awesome, but they all look the same to me, personally. Thinking about buying a "newer" truck - any advice?

the 6.0 and the 6.4 are pretty much the same problems. ford says the fixed everything with the 6.7....... sure. considering the legendary status of a cummins diesel, why would you even consider a ferd or chebby ? :)

Thinking about buying a "newer" truck - any advice?

the problem with the ford 5.4 and 4.6 engines are the 3 valve ones. they have "unique" spark plugs. wish I had my cam with me I'd take a pic of some I have at the shop. I've replaced a lot of sparkplugs on these. I had one truck with 80k break 7 of them. it's really easy to get them out if they...
