    AC troubleshoot

    RV2 was blowing hot, so evacuated the system (R12), added the 134a reto fit couplings and pulled vacuum. 24hr no leaks. Added 24oz 134a and gauge readings are displayed below. No change in temp.

    Horrible MPG/Fuel odor troubleshoot

    Strong gasoline odor while driving with all windows down. No visible gas leaks anywhere. Very poor MPG (130mi for almost a full tank of gas) 5.9L Magnum crate with a Summit double pumper carb. No leaks anywhere.

    Magnum water neck and thermostat ?'s

    Bought the JEGS #53252 Billet aluminum water neck for the RPM Air Gap. It is O ring sealed. So drop the T-stat in and then bolt up the water neck I am going to assume. Do we really need that T-stat? And will the one that came out of the M1 single plane work in there?

    #1. I seem to have a couple extra tapped holes in the intake that the M1 did not. First is the extra small sensor (fine threaded) on the top/front. I used one for the water temp sensor (nearest the thermostat housing), but the other must be for IAT or something I am not using with carb system...
