Anyone done this? I found a 440 block for sale and the pick up tube passage has been drilled out at the wrong angle and it makes contact with the reciprocating assembly now. I guess someone was trying to add a 3/8 pick up tube at home. Anyways the rest of the block has like 500mi on it after rebuild. Any fixes for this or just add the external oiling kit and build?

I believe you meant 1/2" pickup tube.
Put a pipe plug in it and run external.
If a pipe plug won't seal it you may have to braze a seal.
If you want to save $ over the price of new send me a pm
I have lots of good used milodon pieces collected in a box from over the years.
Save it somehow.

Yeah, meant 1/2. Just saw my machinist and he said bring it on down, it isn't his first rodeo!
If the rest of the block is good. I will keep you in mind if I need those Miloden parts!
