Will w2/w5 rockers fit T/A heads??

Mine aren't original t/a heads, so I don't care to modify. What all would go into making them work?

Will w2/w5 rockers fit T/A heads??

Sleepyhead416, If you don't mind, I would appreciate it. If you could, try and stick a pushrod in it and see if it fits at all.

Will w2/w5 rockers fit T/A heads??

So you have never heard anything like that before? I can see it working if you drilled out the pushrods holes more to make room for the extra .275 of offset, but I don't see how it would clear as is. Do you know if they will work on a stock shaft that uses hydraulic stamp steel rockers, or do I...

http://m.ebay.com/itm/W-2-W-5-TA-AAR-ROCKER-ARMS-MOPAR-/271941045203?nav=SEARCH The guy selling these says that they will fit w2/w5 AND t/a heads. I have the replacement T/A heads (576 castings) and was wondering if they would work. Also, will they fit my current stock shafts that aren't...

    360 with Nitrous?

Spend a little extra and put MLS gaskets on it, and arp head studs and you won't have to worry about blowing a head gasket.

Speed master/pro comp cnc small block heads

Has anyone used the Speedmaster 190cc cnc ported sbm heads, or have flow numbers on them? I'd like to get some and assemble them with good components.

    340 misfire

Alright guys, thanks for the help! When I get the chance, I will get a compression tester, and then check the Carb and intake gaskets.

    340 misfire

So, will a compression test show me if I have a manifold vacuum leak? If not, is there a way I can check? Sorry if I sound like a newbie, but I'm 16 and this is the first manifold I've put on, and I've never really used a tester.

    340 misfire

I checked the oil a few times and didn't see any shavings. Even the break in oil didn't have many shavings if any. I pulled the valve covers and they all moved the exact same distance.

    340 misfire

I put plenty of assembly lube on cam and bottom of lifters, and oil on the outside of them. I made sure they spun. I used Lucas oil break in oil and even put in a little extra zinc. I ran it between 2000-2500 rpm for 20-25 minutes. Next morning, I changed oil and filter, and put some additive in it.

It has the advance on the distributor, but it isn't hooked up. It isn't plugged either.

I know it has a good bit of duration, but you would think it would still have a little more?

    340 misfire

Ok, that will be the next thing I do. When I put my new manifold on, it didn't want to bolt on very easy, and when I got it on, the front didn't make contact with the cork gasket on the front of the block. I could fit my fingernail in the space between the intake and gasket, so I put some rtv on...

    340 misfire

As far as improper cam timing, it ran great at first, then it started. So, a low vacuum reading where the needle doesn't bounce around could indicate more than one burnt valve?

    340 misfire

I have a '73 dart sport 340 4 speed that has a misfire that I cannot get rid of. I have been through 2 sets of plugs, new wires, new cap and rotor, 2 different carbs, different timing, and nothing has helped. It does it between idle and around 2000-2500 rpms. After that, I don't know if it goes...

    340 T/A head identification

I understand that they came on T/A challengers, and AAR cudas on 340 six packs, and that they use offset rockers due to the pushrod holes, but I am wondering the story behind my heads. they have no O,U,J casted into them, they don't have 360 cast above the valvespring like the ''J'' heads do...

    340 T/A head identification

From what I understand, T/A's are j heads with relocated holes, but these are strange because they have little to no markings on them.

    340 T/A head identification

Hi guys, I recently picked up a set of heads at a swap meet that are supposed to be a set of 340 T/A heads. I knew a little bit about them before I bought them, like the casting number and "U" that is casted into them, but they have neither. The do have the pushrod holes drilled correctly...
