I have a 318 out of a 71 dart i put in my 1950 dodge truck. I want to give it some pep so I want to bolt on a 4 barrel carb. I have a 4 barrel intake off a 340. Casting number 2531915. Would this work with no issues for a 318? Thanks for any help.

Battery tested fine, turns out my timing was a bit off. Moved my wires around now it fires without hesitation. Thanks for the help guys.

I have the power for thj dist wired right to the ignition switch so it should have good power, I checked the date of the battery and I bought it in 2012. I think ill start with that.

I havent check the battery yet, tomorrow I will. It will turn over fine for a few seconds then slow down, then speed up, the slow and so on. Ill put the charger on over night and see what happens. Thanks again.

Did you bypass the mechanical fuel pump also? Or are you using both the electric and mechanical?
