Thanks Redfish for the great info and picture of what should be there, I know they made them and someone should have one for sale. it is to late to fill in the holes and paint as I just got the car from paint a few weeks ago.

here is a picture of the mirror that was on it when I got it. it is made by the Yankee company, it is a close match to the driver side but I know it isnt the correct one so I am looking for something a little closer to stock. I wonder if there is a way to reverse the driver side mirror somehow...
