Pulled the power steering bracket off of my kid's 340 to transfer it to the 360 and had coolant come pouring out of both timing cover bolt holes. Are these holes normally wet? We had issues with coolant in the oil with this engine. Wondering if the block is toast.

This will be a mostly street motor. Besides a B&M flexplate, what else is different between a 340 and 340? Oil pan? We have some more detective work to do to the 340 before we declare it dead. Just thinking ahead.

I had to use the chisel method on my Wife's old Firebird once. I put a remote oil filter on the Kid's Dart when we installed the TTI's. Makes oil changes way easier.

The engine is running prety well. We did swap intakes chasing a vacum leak. I'll check that too. Whenever it stops snowing.
