The gauge was never installed. The sensor was threaded into the pipe but never saw exhaust gas.

I got some numbers off of the block and heads. The production date on the block is: 7-8-76 and the other set of casting numbers are:4006530-400-6. The heads casting # is 4006452.

The X blocks have thicker cylinder walls than the LA variety. There should be no problem at 4.070
