I've got 295-50s on my Duster with a little grinding on the inside of the quarter panel lip and SS springs.

my duster does the same thing. Normal light throttle driving and it will shift 10/15. Full throttle it will shift around 4500 rpms. I've tried adjusting the kickdown but that's all I can get it to go. If I want to hit 6000 I have to shift it myself.

What about a 10" converter from PTC? I saw on ptcrace.com they have them for $300. Anyone know what kind of stall they have.

I asked on the other mopar site and they're saying the dynamic converter will only stall at 2200-2600 behind my 340.

I'll most likely be getting an RPM air gap intake in the future but for now I'm using the torker which I got along with the set of 10.5 to 1 forged pistons for $200 so it was basically free.

I'm not sure of the company. But they recommended a 2000 stall or said I could go bigger and get a 2200. The price was around $300 bucks for the convertor.

Well I'm now probably going to end up getting the Mopar 175k convertor. I don't want a convertor that has a lower than stock stall. Plus I'll save a few bucks on the mopar unit over the one the tranny shop recommended.

The transmission shop that I'm getting my 727 rebuilt at recommended either a 2000 or 2200 stall convertor. I was told and saw on another board that the 340s used the factory high stall convertor which was rated at 2450 rpm. Now this would be along the lines of the 175K convertor from Mopar...
