The SRT 4 model is probably two years out from now. I ran in Ralph Giles at Carlisle and asked him about the SRT 4 Dart. He said the engine they want will not be available till then. He didn't elaborate on power but confirmed that they want north of 300 hp. Sounds promising.

I'll be there but I'm not bringing my car this year. It would have been one hell of a ride for him too. Sorry :(

As far as old iron goes, there is plenty of that. If they force every vendor to have a tax ID #, I'm afraid that the swap meet section will suffer. Hot was an understatement. I hope for a no repeat of those temps this time around.

Oh man! I had a chance to buy a "69 1/2" Road Runner. It had a stage four 440 engine, 12-1 compression and a small .509" hydraulic cam. The car ran 11.2 @ 119 mph. I just didn't have $10k at the time. Car is long gone now :( There was also a 69 dart my friend owned. It had a 372 stroked...

My car came with a bench seat..... So I kept it that way. So that is how I voted. :)

The only car show I like is the Chryslers at Carlisle event. There is no way I can go to a local car show and sit there all day. I like cruises more. Drive in, hang out, drive out.

I always looked forward to that event..... Now, not so much. There are more cars that show up at Lebanon Valley NY. on their Mopar day. It was awesome in the 90's.
