In Manitoba where I live; if your car was born with shoulder belts, they have to be operational. Up here Shoulder Belts came in 69, although I have a 68 Barracuda, that was fitted for the anchors, but the headliner was installed right over them.... from the factory.

What to watch for is that over-center spring! There is a lot of stored energy in that spring and the pedal wants to be on the floor.

My experience as well with Corbeaus into a 68 Barracuda; I don't recall what model I purchased,except to say they were highbacks with bolsters. After the install they looked waaay out of scale, Corbeau graciously accepted the return.

On the 1-2 shift, my keys fly out of the dash, between the buckets, and into the backseat area. If I had coins in the 68 type dash, I might never find them all. I had to take all the keys off the keyring leaving just the ignition key, and it finally stays in there. I have no backseat installed...
