    Critique this 440!

Knuckle, first, the price is high, I agree with 1700 - 2000 for everything with a few considerations: Your dads 67 GTX, if this is a correct motor, then the heads will be 915's, check the casting numbers, these are a one year only and came factory on the 67 GTX's, not hard to find but are...

    '71 Swinger (What is this?)

Fuel vent system, if you look underneath, you should see about four or five vent lines coming from the tank, they feed up that tube. Should be a plate over the lines.

bb or sb for my 72 dart swinger

DartSwinger7 - I have a 71/440/727, I like it a lot and has been a great learning experience. If I was to do it again, I would probably do a 360. WAY lower cost in the end. Dont be like me, pick what you want to do - cruise / street-strip / Drag race / or rally (or combination) and build to...

    400 Stroker Discussion

I like the 451, light and lots of power from low-budget parts (or high if feel the need). I am working on another one right now, looking for 600-700, through Victor heads. All the parts you can order at cost just by doing a bit of research.

    New and need help!!!!!

New2 - couple thoughts, I used the Hotchkis TVS on my 68 GTX, was a bit much but worked well. Not sure where you want to go with the car, there are some things you can do to upgrade such as frame supports, sway bars, and beefer torsion bars. I would recommend poking around, some of these guys...

    Those of you selling parts

Gentlemen, I agree -yes we get busy, however common courtesy at times does seem to be lacking. I respond always when PM'ed, and when I post I guess I do expect a response. If you dont like me, opt me out, I believe you can do it on the forum, or simply tell me via a PM, I would tell you...

"I'm getting out of MoPar" threads.........

Pondered this, I got into Mopars because I love cars, not all cars, just certain ones, such as Cuda's, 68 to 70 Chargers, 65-70 Mustang Fastbacks, certain year Camaros, Pontiacs, etc. For a car guy you see the pattern, these where the cool cars to me growing up, which I could not afford. So...

    mopar 413 engine???

I think Rani hit it on the head. I bought one from a running MH that had a decent leak down and compression (real low, but consistent). Built 906's (Now would have used 516's or 915's to build CR, or even 440 source), M1 and Purple 509, pan and Demon Carb. Put it in a 67 Belvedere. Pulled...

    Legendary or Year One?????

I did a lot of purchasing from YO while I was overseas for when I returned. When i returned nearly 1.5 years later I had some parts I needed to return - I HAD ZERO ISSUES, FULL PRICE no hassles. Yes a bit of tude on the phone, but really I put my ego in check Legendary -I bought some seat...

Fastest street legal/driven car on FABO?

I agree with StrokerScamp - Tagged and Insured -- This 41 Willy's does high six's in the 1/4, is street legal, idles, runs at about 150 degrees on a cruise (Hot August Nights) ALL Day and is tagged and insured. Wheelie Bars are within legal distance specifications for the road. Oh -- and...
