Dam that looks good. I did the same as you, rattle cans taping and masking everything off and like you said it gets scratched very easy. I had my side bars coated in rainbow gold to get rid of the scratches, but not cheap. Next time I'm going your route, especially if it's durable.

Yea your probably right, but I used that to compare all the a body cars from 60 - 67, since I figure I would check one later A (67) and compare the shipping weight as a reference and 62 was the lightest. These cars were equipped with the 170 as well.

62 Plymouth V100 2dr sedan shipping weight 2480lbs. 62 Dodge Lancer 2dr sedan is 2495 the second lightest a body. This is per my book 'Standard catalogue of Chrysler'

I'd say just by the way it looks alone, that you would loose power, the way the carb lines up with the intake ports you'd think that the front and rear cylinders would lean out. But if I was a betting man I would say loose torque below 4000 and gain above, maybe 20 hp for the TR.

I bought the axles for the 65 Cuda from Mopar Madness, and everything was as promised. and was shipped in a timely manner. The axles were Yukon with the green bearings pushed on. Can't remember what I paid though.

One thing we use to do is at one end of the upper control arm bushings, we would grind of the little lines so this part of the bushing is now smooth, and then add some greasse is so the upper control arm would 'float' up and down with ease. Of course this is if you are running a stock type...

It depends on how wide and tall you make your rear wheel wells. My car can't have a back seat as I run 33 21.5 Mickey's. Even if you widen your rear wheel wells 3 inch's you would have a problem with the rear seat. If you go conservitive you could modify the seat and make it narrower and keep it...

I would imagine that if you drop the thrust spacer back in the spool it should work! Normally the thrust spacer sits in between the pinion shaft, but now with a spool you have no pinion shaft. So when you put the pumkin in the thrust spacer could fallout causing you a problem. If you graese the...

Here is what a guy made from big block dart. It protects the pan, with welded metal to the under side of the K frame. The guy is a great welder, with great looking welds. My oil pan on my Duster has added wings, I welded on for more capacity as my old pan got killed on the street.

Those heads should work. 915's is what I'm running on my 340.. Do the push rods line up with the lifters? Maybe the rockers are on the shaft wrong.
