    290hp slant you tube Video

I'm not sure if this has been posted before but after watching the video I found it quit impressive and this build uses the Dutra duals which is what I used. WILD SLANT SIX - 225 Chrysler Build and Dyno | Iconic Engine Series - YouTube

    4.0 inline build- 800hp!

Wow 861hp from a straight 6. Now I can't imagine the cost and engineering that went into that.

the story of me and my slanty...

Engine looks nice and clean, car looks good to me. Is there an air cleaner in the stack you have on the carb? It's better to save a Mopar than to have it crushed no matter how you look at it...

Looks good, do the blue lights make it easier to see the dash at night?

    Mopar oil filter

This is an old post but. 4452890 HP short filter is designed for heavy duty and high performance applications. The restoration filter provides the OEM stock look for show vehicles, if you need a tall filter P4529190 will work.

    here it is so far

Looking real good, the only thing that really bugged me about the /6 is the position of the oil filter, you have to be so careful not to make a mess when changing oil especially on a nice looking motor like yours!

what new shocks' are u guys riding on ?

The 71 Demon is on KYB's, and I have adjustable Koni's on the 65 Cuda. KYB's ride nice and made the car handle quite well on the street, I haven't driven the Cuda so I can't offer a comparison. I bought the KYB's with my suspension parts for when they had them 50% off.

    Identifying my engine

The one way to tell the difference between a 170 and a 225 is by the length of the bypass hose. If it is about 4 inch's it's a RG block or 225, and if the bypass hose is short or a bout 1.5 inches it's a 170. This is the little hose that goes at the front of the engine between the waterpump and...

    dual carb setup

I think it is harder to set up 2 carbs over a single 4 barrel. Dual carbs sure look better, and with 2 small 1 barrel carbs you should still have great bottom end torque. Have any pics of your setup? I'd live to see em!

    Slant 6 EFI manifold.

Good job max! One of the guys here did the same here. The problem he had was he kept getting vapour lock as the fuel rail kept getting to hot. He had to build an aluminum heat sheild to keep things cool. The big problem is the exhaust manifoild site under the intake, and all that heat goes up...

    slant 6 knock

Dam, it sounds like the rod. Pulling the plug wire, is the sure test. But, it sure wouldn't hurt to check the vavle lash.
