    Carb Recommendation

Believe it. I have been bulding Holleys since 1982 and have never blown a power valve either! Get your timing and pump shot correct and there is no reason for a backfire. in 1992 Holley added power valve protection. That's 26 years ago! The Truth About Power Valves Used with Holley Carburetors...

    Need help tuning Quickfuel carb

Holley double pumper vs vac secondary?

That would depend on the linkage. Mine are 1:1 on my blower car.

Holley double pumper vs vac secondary?

I have built/tuned many many Holleys over the years. I have raced with both VS and DP Holleys. If you are running a mild converter I think the VS is a better choice and will not bog with the correct spring in it. I always switch over to the plastic quick change kit on my customer's builds. Now...

    Garage smells like fuel

Guess it's time to change the braided line out again when you can smell it in the house! Man, this ethanol sure eats it up. I am going to do Teflon lined this time but that means all new fittings (yay!). If you haven't done this before, note that the Teflon lines are SMALLER I.D. so you need to...

Barry Grant/Holley 750 Double Pumper Base Plate Question

Okay, let me help you understand what is happening. I build these carbs, have 6 in stock right now. ALL BG's have loose throttle shafts compared to a Holley. Having a loose throttle shaft DOES NOT make a fuel leak; it DOES make a vacuum leak. Don't believe me? Think about this: When the engine...

    Quick fuel Q750 tune ?

Due to variations in manufacturing tolerances, the needles may not be made exactly the same, nor the seats. That means they will not be the same amount of turns. This does not matter at all. Adjust them to how it runs best and don't worry about it.

    What A/F ratio you running?

Super clean setup! That's why I like those pumps. They mount easy and lay flat against the panel.

    Performance electric fuel pumps

Anyone running the Aeromotive A1000 on the street? I am guessing my 470 is going to make around 650hp and I want something that can support that + a 150 shot. I also looked at the Magnafuel 500 but I don't see how I can mount it without it sticking through the floor. I would prefer to keep the...

    holley or demon carb

Holley 950HP or Demon 850. How are you with changing IFR's and IAB's/HSB's? I prefer Demons myself. Run them both on tunnel rams and blowers.
