73 Plymouth Duster Leaf Spring Advice and Help

Need some help and advice on rear leaf springs on my '73 Duster. Unfortunately I made the mistake of putting Mopar P3412003 (3200lbs) leaf springs in it (to replace the old screwed springs) and the car is jacked up real high and want it sitting way lower. Anyone have advice on what I should...

I'm actually going to put 1.5" - 2.0" lowering blocks in it anyways as it's sitting way too high and same with the front so will put new U-Bolts as well and do the correct adjustments and see how it goes.

Thanks for that Rusty. So are you just talking about torquing the 4 x U-Bolts only? I will get out and do this. I'll loosen the eight bolts and out the car on the ground and torque to soecs.

To be honest, I think I did that. I put the springs on up in the air and with rattle gun. I didnt even think of torque settings for the bolts.

I think Im going to have to experiment a bit. To be honest perhaps the rear of the car needs to be lowered a little for weight transfer as the SS springs have jacked it up a lot.

It's bizarre as you hear so many different things with the ET Radials. I'll have to try and few things next I go out. The car is running straight and true but it's just that 60ft time that sucks. When it hooks up it's awesome!

Just want to ask for any advice on set up on SS Springs. I've got a '73 Duster that recently ran 13.10 @ 106mph but with a lazy 1.9-2.0 60ft times so it was spinning off the line. I recently put SS Springs (3600lbs), Competition Engineering Rear Shocks set at 50/50, fronts are 90/10 and...

On my '76 Duster, I have just received brand new power steering pump. The bolts on the back that hold the bracket onto the pump, do these bolts have to be sealed as I'm quite sure they bolt into the reservoir? Apologies for the silly question? if so, what's the best thing to use???
