    91 Jeep Cherokee

never had a Jeep: has the 4.0 . 73k miles; some rust on one rocker; needs exhaust work, just a muffler he says and rear brake line. Haven't gotten up there to see or drive it. Asking $2000, too much? what should I be looking or listening for other than rust? Thanks

    Raising Chickens

We live in the burbs; the town allows up to 5. I bought a kit coop and then made a chicken run (nicknamed the Hilton) maybe 5' by 20' using my already exiting stockade fence as a long side. Make sure the top is covered or the hawks will be there within days. Really next to zero maintenance...

Dodge Omni opinions; decent car or POS

that's it: I missed the 94K when I started the tread; maybe the owner thought that cheap trim accent was the damage and mixed up his/her left and right!

There is a mint 85 available 75K miles for $750: 2.2 auto trans. Good, relatively maintenance free, commuter car? Thanks for your responses.

    f-body question/advice

thanks for the reply Memike; I didn't know that a Duster was made in 79; I thought they were all Volares by then. It does has the 225 but the add says it has one barrel carb, which again I though was strange.

    f-body question/advice

thinking of looking at this for my daughter to go back and forth to high school, 2 mile ride. I know something more modern and safe, but she is an excellent driver and her sister did it in the 63 Valiant. The guy is calling it a "Duster" and there is a badge on the side that says Duster but...

    jack for daily driver?

Had to change a tire on the Valiant on the road and it was precarious at best. Good thing it was a back tire I don't think the front bumper would have held on. What do you recommend getting for carrying around in the car. I have a 70 Dart and 63 Valiant both with a /6.

    GM A-body opinions

I heard that these GM A-bodies from the late 80s early 90s (Buick Lesabre, Olds Cutlass Cierra) were solid trouble-free cars. Looking for a 1st car for one of my kids; 95 Cutlass very clean with low mileage (70); asking price $2000. Is one V6 better that the other. i think the 3.0 and the...

    31 k Mile 77 Aspen 318 A/C

I had a 78 wagon about 10 years ago; paid I think about $1200 for it and sold it 4 years later for $400 or so. Very reliable but the New England winters were not kind to it. Maybe $1500-2000 for me and only if I needed a car right away otherwise I'd stick with Darts and Valiants.

    63 Plymouth Signet 200

good price if the body is more than decent especially for a PA car. The slant (even the 170) is perky enough for the little car. mechanical parts are available; clean body parts are another story.

Whats the oldest daily driver you drive.

My daily driver is a 70 Dart Custom; I'm 54. My daughter drove her 63 Valiant back and forth to High School except in the snow. She is away at college now; I take it out once or twice a week for her. She is 18.
