..can I shim my pinion down? In other words I need to go down about 6* with the pinion, will a 6* shim fit? Also, theres a bunch offered on summit are they all the same as long as you have the width correct?

This is exactly what I found. The entire diff is loose inside the carrier bearings, about a 1/16 of an inch, absolutly zero preload. So far only a visual inspection, but there doesnt seem to be any bad pitting or wear on the gears, but it looks like theres no distinct pattern on them, I think...

I'm fine with staying with the aftermarket bearings if thats what in it. But if I know thats whats in it, then i'd guess that would be my drone problem due to the bit of endplay in it.
