Hello everyone, The mirrors on my 1966 Barracuda won't stay in position. They tilt down from the wind. Is there a way to "tighten" the joint that allows you to adjust them? I've looked for a set score, but there doesn't seem to be one. There is a clip that holds the mirror in, but I Haven't...

Hmm...my 66' Barracuda has the 'V' on the trim piece. From what I understand, it was never replaced, so is it possible that they used both in 66'?

Are the doors in good shape? If so, maybe offer them up for sale in the classified section for what it would cost to buy new metal so that someone else can benefit also.

If you followed the directions, and that happened it would sound like it's the directions/product fault. I'd contact them and tell them exactly what happened and see if transtar would clarify the directions and possibly offer a remedy of the problem.

Let me know what you find, because my Scamp didn't come with scoops, but a PO put them on and I know the studs aren't right and would like to make them.

Sorry, thought you where talking about the regulator track.

I believe the back inside part of the regulator track will have a little "bump" or stop. I don't have an actual picture of a 73' Duster, but I've included a generic picture to illustrate what I'm trying to say about the regulator track have the dimple on the left.
