Thanks for every ones help . I found a company out of California . There web site is ansenvalvecovers.com. They told me the covers they sell for 340 mopar is exactly the same dimensions as the performance plus covers with out the logos.

How tall are your valve cover

I have a 340 with Elderbrock heads, RPM air gap intake with mopar performance valve covers. The valve covers have been cut out at intake runners. I believe the covers may be warped . Looking for tall valve covers . Any one have this problem and how did you fix it Thanks

Like to give a update on this thread since a lots of people where good enough to give me help with this. I verified the balancer was correct with tdc. I purchased an adjustable rotor cap from jegs. Thanks for all your help I think I got it. It seems to be correct.If I line it up with 10 degrees btdc and rotate it the opposite direction it comes up to 8 degrees atdc so that is 2 degrees off so if I take half of that I should be 1 degree off .

So I all I have to do is turn # 1 up on compression stroke to 10 degrees before tdc on my balancer turn in the stop till it hits the piston .Rotate the engine in opposite direction till it hits the stop. Make a mark. Then find the center between the 2 marks

What is the procedure for finding tdc using piston stop. Need to make sure my balancer is correct on small block
