I have a slant six with a holley 600 model 80457-2 with vac secondarys and 64 primary jets.I was going to change carbs since it is to much carb for the engine . I have decided to unhook the vac secondarys and jet the carb down as one member suggested instead of changing everything. My question...

The car is a 1965 barracuda. The engine is a 73 do not know what it is out of. It has Clifford headers with offenhouser intake with 600 holley.The engine has nothing else done to it as far as know. It has rod linkage

Trying to find out what engine is in a barracuda I recently purchased. The number on the block is 2806830-8 . The heads have the tubes where the plugs are. What to replace plugs do I need to remove the tubes or use plugs that come with no seal. Never dealt with a slant six before completely lost...

Its a 600 with vac secondaries.Has 60 jets.Rebuilding carb right now power valve was blown.Then will see how it does may take it pigeon forge and see what is for trade

After looking over the car more after I got it home it seems to be better than I thought. Just bought 65 barracuda with slant six and 4 speed. It has a holley carb and offenhouser intake . Did this come on slant sixs originally or did someone add this?
