Do you mean the inner structure has separated from the outer skin on your hood? If so, I had the same issue with my hood, I used urethane to re-glue the skin to the inner structure. It worked great.

When you are putting on any panel it is important that you put you stands under the suspension on all 4 corners. (rear axel & front control arms) Do not put them under the frame. You body will flex and it will change when you put it back on wheels, so this is very important.

I would only use body filler to do the finish work once the scoop has been properly bonded to the hood. I would recomend the fusor just make sure you get the correct one as they make different types for different applications. just follow the directions on the data sheet.
