    If you did not gulp down a large amount of liquid you did not hydro-lock it. Have seen a few motors that were hydoed...rods bend, cranks break and blocks will sometimes window.

    EFI.....purdy sure that will stop the blower surge. Have been told that part of the reason a roots blower will surge is due to the fact that some of the mixture is used to "lube" the teflon strip on the rotors resulting in a somewhat uneven fuel flow at lower engine speeds...guy that told me ran...

    Hold it floored til it blows up....rebuild it and take 500 rpm off....I have never put a lot of stock in the 1k/10psi thing. Had a motor built by the best, at the time, race shop in NJ. Was a little 2.8 v-6 in a Bronco II. Never seen over 20psi or so of oil pressure. Put over 400k on that motor...
