Went looking for products suggested and came up with this stuff. I went over the whole outside of seal in 15 minutes and it cleaned it up nice. Will attack the inside of seal tomorrow. Smells nasty but is effective.

I know there is a lot of elbow grease involved in cleaning them however is there a product that will help removing all the old goop.

The clips for the windshield on the bottom of both front and rear are adjustable slotted. Where do they sit middle of the slot, forward or back. Do they sit just proud of the windshield channel. I dont understand why they are slotted when you cant adjust anyway when the windshield is installed.

I got mine from R/T Specialities. I think there should be one hole on each side and the rest studs however mine has had the studs ground. Thats no problem I can just redrill and screw on the clips. I mainly need to know the location of the end chrome pieces.

Stripper discs are fantastic. Made from PET (coke bottle plastic). They go on a a normal angle grinder and will rip the glue off. They are also great for ripping of paint without damaging metal. Try Bunnings and I think they are Trojan brand blue in colour.
