    Six pack nitrous set up

Yea the NOS brand kits for 6 pack have been discontinued a long time. I was lucky to find one here on the forums and wasn't cheap with no bottle. As for a 4 speed I run nitrous on a number of my cars and each are stick shift. I run a rev limiter on them. I have the wot micro switch mounted on a...

    Six pack nitrous set up

I couldn't message you pics.. the micro switch bracket has been moved some as that setup worked only when the outboard carbs were fully open. Nitrous didnt come on until 5000rpm with that set up. I have it set now so it comes on about 2800)outside carbs open a 3rd and stays on through out sweep...

    Six pack nitrous set up

I have a nitrous setup on my 340-6 duster. It was a full NOS brand set up. The center plate is just a spacer and the 2 ends have spray bars. I searched years for one and paid I think close to 500 for a used setup here on the forums no bottle. I made my own bracket that works off the outside...

Anyone out there use a nitrous six pack set up?

The outside carbs are opening for sure and car pulls great. Like stated above just wasn't tripping the micro switch in time. If anything the outboard are just about fully open at 5200ish and by that time I am getting ready to shift. I know another 1000 rpm left but I have the rev limiter set low...

Anyone out there use a nitrous six pack set up?

It is a nos brand set up.. It uses a spray bar plate under the outboard carbs and the center carb is just a spacer. It uses one fuel and one nitrous solenoid teed to run both plates. I just had it out for another ride and I bent the micro switch so it would come on a bit sooner, right under 3/4...

Anyone out there use a nitrous six pack set up?

I have a nitrous six pack setup on my 340 duster. I have finally got the carbs dialed in where I don't have any bog or hesitation. I have the nitrous micro switch on the outboard carb linkage where it will only spray when the outboards are fully open. I have a light on the dash to tell me when...

at what point does 6 pack dump fuel?

They idle on all 3 carbs. There is adjustment screws on the lower base. You have to pull the rear carb to adjust it unless you an aftermarket plate. If they are dumping fuel is the float level adjusted right? The out side carbs operate on vacuum and will open under load. There are springs in...

340 Six Pak...smokin', or blowin' smoke?

Thanks... And good question about the springs. I don't know if they make the quick change style lid for 6 pack carbs. Everytime you have to take out the bolts and hope not to rip the diaphragm. Don't remember what color spring is in my 4 speed set up but it had to be a bit stronger to stop...

340 Six Pak...smokin', or blowin' smoke?

I have two six pack set ups on my 71 340 duster and 72 340 cuda. One 4 speed and one auto. They took a bit to tune but run great. They run great just cruising around and when you put it to the floor no bog. It does seem in the 4 speed car you can feel the outside carbs hit harder but that might...

    Wideband

4.9 is the newest bosch wideband sensor.. It is suppose to me more accurate, faster, etc. I kept having problems with them for some reason. So I bought a older 4.2 sensor and just had to match wires and put the 4.9 plug on it. Been working flawless for like 2500 miles now...

i did it on my 73 cuda with aar hood. I used a big cookie plan and 4inch foam from summit. When you close the hood makes a good seal. The cookie pan had the nice rolled edge already btw car is no where near done,so sorry for dirty underhood.. its in a lot of piece getting a redo
