    Kelsey Hayes brake spindle?

Like was said earlier, buy the Mustang 5x4.5 rotors and do a little bit of machining and you can use everything from the kelsey hayes 5x4 spindles.

Rear disc Brakes on 8 3/4

Just for an update, long due, I ended up using this for e-brakes: Lokar: Universal Emergency Brake Cables Hope it helps someone else out. I ended up having to do a little bit of welding to the existing e-brake cable end at the original Y location. But it works great.

Using mustang rotors for 4.5" bc

The only problem I encountered was with the area between the hub and the rotor. It's "as cast" and really rough in this area and it hit my calipers until I took a grinder to it and smoothed things out, after that all was good.

Using mustang rotors for 4.5" bc

I just smoothed out the very rough section that was basically still showing the sand casting. That area is anything but balanced to begin with, IMO.

Using mustang rotors for 4.5" bc

So I decided to give this mod a try. Bought a set of Raybestos 6004R from finditparts.com for $41.85 a piece plus only $21 shipping. Seemed pretty reasonable. They also had the inner seals for $9.33 a piece. Got them back from the machine shop today. I had them machined down to 11.09"...

Rear disc Brakes on 8 3/4

No problem, now all I need to do is figure out the parking brake cable and how to get that to work. On a side note, does anyone know the thread size of the brass Y block that mounts to the rearend?? I'm thinking of replacing the rubber brake hose that runs from the body down to the brass...

Rear disc Brakes on 8 3/4

My brake line solution ended up being buying a pair of Russell braided brake hoses, part # 657310. It has a 10mm banjo on one end and a 3/8"-24 inverted female end on the other. A 3/16" brake line screws right into it which is the same size as the stock brake line originally on the rear end...

    Rear disc conversion....

Can you give a bit of details on how you welded the brackets on, lined them up, where you got them etc.... did you have to do anything to the rotors to get them to fit over the hub, did you just use the regular axle flange to keep the axles in?? Thanks.

I mailed Booster Dewey my booster on a Tuesday, he got it on Wednesday, and I picked it up from him on Friday afternoon on my way to the Portland Swap Meet. Can't find better service than that. Granted it would have taken longer if I had wanted the gold anodizing done, I didn't so it was a...

Pictures of roll control and proportioning valve.

Is there any danger to using teflon tape on those fittings??? Will brake fluid eat it up and then leave you with little bits of teflon floating around in your line??? Just asking for my own knowledge. Of course I'm assuming that I'm seeing teflon tape on the master.

    Disk Brakes???

You wouldn't happen to have the proportioning valve for that that you'd want to part with?????
