I like chrome bumpers on classic cars myself. the car has to be built right to pull it off. my buddy has a really dark gray 69 Camaro with blacked out trim and the bumpers are black,looks great! but everything is dark and Camaro's have small bumpers.

well. that's the problem. against everything I believe,i went around it. on a 40 degree day with cold,new comp tires,they don't like that. so it was nose in the ditch,spun,through a fence and into the horse pasture. drove the car home,but no body damage,but all frame damage.

finally got her all done and ready for the Optima Faceoff next week!

after a run in with a deer and cold tires (long story) she finally got out of the paint shop yesterday. they have to go back and remove the crappy light blue pin stripe that wasn't my idea and get rid of the big goofy chrome mirrors that was one of the main things I wanted done. a factory...

the color is washed out because it is a flat color. the car is jon clarks flat basterd featured in PHR last year. i raced it at the PHR musclecar of the year last year and i have had it ever since in my shop working out build bugs. bad *** car! this is mine. crappy cell phone pic.

i bought a '65 caddy coupe in the spring cheap. dude gave me a bill of sale,but it wasn't notorized and i NEVER thought to look! been pissing around with this dude for like 5 months now. i mean,it really isn't that hard to get a bill of sale,get it notorized and send it to me. live and learn!

if i may make a suggestion. i have the same seat brackets in my car and they are a little high. i am only 5' 10" and i couldn't sit up straight with a helmet on. when i done my 5 spd and had eveything out,i cut the feet off and lowered the front some and the rear all the way to the floor...

yes. 17x8 with i think it is 5.7" BS. if it wasn't for the damn TRE hitting the wheel i would be fine without spacers. 18's are supposed to solve that. i chicken too sh$& to heat up the knuckle and bend it to date! i only need about 1/2" max.

my front tires rub at full lock. i have to run a thin spacer so the wheel clears the tie rod but i need to look into thinning the spacers out some.
