    '73-'76 Duster custom grilles

Bought any? Made any? I really don't like the stock grille. ESPECIALLY the top aluminum piece that says Plymouth. I have 3 here to modify and will probably ruin a couple. I have also thought about building a tube one but that may look really tacky because of the way the grille opening is shaped...

    Replacing windshield

Well, my glass was delaminating on the edges and looking like burnt plastic inside so I decided to change it. I already had the dash and column out and the interior is gutted. What I did was pull the lockstrip out, cut around the gasket edge (not the gasket itself, just where the seam is). Then...

    Plastidip

Would like to see your Plastidip work. Have you done stripes or graphics with it? How did you apply it and would you do it again?

    Which hood would you run?

So I have this '74 Duster I am doing a tunnel ram and a scoop (like a Hilborn). I have a nice painted steel hood on it right now. I am not looking forward to cutting the bracing on this and trying to make it look not hacked. So if I go fiberglass, should I go hinged or lift off? Also what style...

Maybe my car was built on a Friday!

Man, was just going to fix the floors and lay down some new carpet but like everything else I touch I go way to far. I noticed the seam sealer on the floor was loose in places and could just pop it out with a flat tipped screwdriver. Underneath was surface rust since it lost it's adhesion...

    Mini tubbing question

Will I lose my fold down rear seat if I minitub? Will my Caltracs need to be modified?

    74 Duster rear bumper weight

I am pulling this bumper off the other day and thinking, "Man, what if it weighs a whole lot more than it looks?" YEP! Sure does. So I got the old scale and weighed it: 85lbs without bolts or fillers! Wow what a pig. It lives out by the shed now. Should get enough for the scrap to buy lunch LOL...

Convert front end of '74 Duster

Thinking of going fiberglass hood and fenders to get some weight off the nose of my big block '74 Duster. Can I just change the hood/fenders to a '70 style? I will do a pin-on type so no worries about the latch support. I will change the bumper/grille as well of course.

    Duster tail light mod

I do not like the bumpy pot metal bezels on my '74 Duster. Even new ones look tacky. So I am thinking about flush mounting the lamps like on a '70-'72. I can do this buy welding studs so the lamps have something to fasten to from the inside of the rear body panel. Has anyone done this? Or should...

    '73-'76 Duster Tail lights

My bezels have blisters on them because they are pot metal and have started to corrode under the chrome. I want to eliminate them to clean up the rear of the car. I know they hold the lamps on because they have studs. Has anyone found a way to mount the taillamps with them?

    Painting valve covers

I work in the automotive industry at the dealership level and my paycheck has taken a beating this year. Instead of getting down about it, I have decided to revamp my Duster's plans to accomodate my budget. Instead of replacing perfectly good parts with brand new aftermarket I am going to...
