Selling my pair of 76 Valiant cop cars. These cars are EXTREMELY ROUGH, and will probably need rebodied. The cop cars are sequential VIN 360 4barrel cars. Two 73 Dart 4 door parts cars are included as body/organ donors. Here's the rundown:

Car # 1: 76 Valiant, very rough, sitting since 1978, missing original drivetrain, have correct dated 360 warranty block, non-correct 727. No hood, no rear axle. Seats OK, nice dash and pad. Radio Delete.

Car #2: 76 Valiant, very rough but complete, sitting since 1980, numbers matching E58 360 and 727, original 8.25 Sure Grip, the only parts missing are the rear sway bar and the alternator. Radiator still full of coolant. Seats OK, nice dash and pad. Radio Delete.

Car # 3: 73 Dart 4 door, solid floors and rails. Nice aprons. Quarters were patched by previous owner, and not well. No engine, trans, K-member, or rad. Good donor.

Car # 4: 73 Dart 4 door, floors were patched, as were the quarters. Nice rails, aprons, and rockers. Missing engine, trans, K-member, radiator, interior, and windshield. Good donor.

Would like to sell as a package, all 4 cars for $3000. Not interested in seperating or parting. I would like to see the pair of cop cars saved, but I know that I probably will never get to it. Cars are worth the asking price in parts:

2 disc brake setups
2 nice dash pads
2 radio delete plates
2 certified speedos
2 front sway bars
8 14 X 6 plain steel wheels
1 360 warranty shortblock
1 complete E58 360
2 727s
1 8.25 Sure Grip
2 A/C setups
Etc, etc, etc, etc.

Cars are located in Woodward, PA 16882. PM me with your phone number and a good time to call. Let's deal.

Uh oh Will, I see a name change coming soon!! Something like A100vanman or something!! Sorry to see that you're selling the Valiants, they are indeed rare cars. I'm with you though, I'm trying to thin the herd and get some things I will never get to into the hands of others who may. Hope your cars go to a good home!! Good luck with the sale, Geof

Thanks Geof! Too many irons in the fire right now. And you've seen my garage. It would be nice to just have room to move in there for a change!

Oh , man ! I was hoping to see at *least* one more A38 Valiant in my lifetime ( can't see a monetary windfall my way any time soon ... ) .

IF I had the means , I'd buy your cars in a heartbeat ; in a New York minute !

I'd enjoy sending these 49 State , 220 hp 360's , no catalytic converters , through Ca's outrageous I/M emissions inspection ... ha ha ha ... just to see what those motherf**kers would say !
Then I'd take 'em to have a "financially-enhanced" smog check performed at one of those "you-have-to-know-someone-whom-knows-someone..." places afterhours :happy1: .

Seriously though ...
These cars are absolutely worth saving !!
So little known about 'em ; so few made ; so few left !

Good luck with your sell :thumblef:

What sleepers these would be ! No one would suspect a 4 door '76 Valiant as a stomper !

I'd like to build one with a stock-appearing , LA 360-based 408 stroker ; blue engine topped with a semi-gloss black air cleaner .
I'd back it up with a Keisler 4 speed auto and a 3.55 geared 9.25" diff .

Hmmm. Sounds good, but the stock air cleaner is orange. See my avatar pic.

Couple pics. As I said, the cars are both rough, and will probably need re-bodied.

I don't remember where, but I read someplace that "most (A-body squads) were equipped with the 318 2 barrel engine". I had joined copcar dot com back when I first purchased these, and nobody there had a Valiant. One E58 Dart marked car in either Washington or Oregon, one 318 unmarked A38 package in Arizona, and one old picture that somebody found at their barracks of a marked A38 Dart that they said had been a slant six meter-maid car. Aside from those, few members there had ever seen an A-body cop car.

Nice cars you have for sale, if anything is still availible around mid june this year Im more than happy to come and buy the pair of cop cars

Those are cool, and they're really not that rough, at least from the pictures.
It's the bottom side that's total junk. Notice the panel gap at the fender and door juntion? Front rails are GONE on both cars, and they sag at the firewall.

That's one of the biggest things I don't miss about "The Rust Belt."
