360 hp guess

Just built a new 360. 9.25 to 1 comp. ported j heads 2.02 1.60 Performer intake deep gasket match. Lunati cam 234-242 at .050 .513-.533 lift on a 110. Heads are home ported maybe 230cfm in. 170 ex. just a gasket match, bowl port and stream line valve guide. Took a lot of the roof on the ex. I was hoping for 350 or better. 650 dp carb. also have a 750 dp as well.

My guess is that you have achieved your goal with no problems. I hope this breathes thru 2 1/2 duals.

you may actually come near to 400hp - if the 650 keeps up with the motor you're probably closer to your 350 guess - if you swap on the 750 and it wakes it up some - then likely closer to 400 - either way, I would bet you are in that range.

I do have 1 5/8 headers and 2 1/2 ex. with magnaflow mufflers. If I got 375 hp I would be very happy. I will try both carbs at test n tune in april. hoping for 12s. Going in my dart 3.55s and 2800 stall with 235 60 15 drag radials. The track here is close to 1000 ft. so air is pretty good. Thanks for your replies.

Use the 750!
Change to a RPM & gain another 35HP.

That'll be a nice setup, you're dead nuts in the range+. I got about the same heads and a little more cam, let me tell ya that 600 will put the hurt on lol. Definitely 750. Good work, enjoy!
