I have a question I have read online and in engine building manual that the stroke of my 383 is 3.375 but in a direct connection 1970 bulletin that I have acquired says the stroke is 3.380. So I was wondering what it really is ?

If you’re reading an engine building book that rounds numbers up (or down) that book should be used to light your fireplace.

It's listed a lot of places as 3.38, but the true stroke is 3.375. I mean......it's .005" difference. Kinda splittin hairs, really, BUT, when you're measuring machine work in thousandths of an inch, splittin hairs is EXACTLY what you should do.

Sure seems to me that stuff like bore, stroke, rod and main journals and clearances, should be pretty specific.
