Good day fellow A body enthusiasts. After researching past posts, I have more questions than answers about how to. So is it as straight forward as changing out the distribution block/proportioning valve, bolting in the dual with new lines to the MC, bleeding the system and calling it a day?
The system consists of stock drum brakes all around that were replaced with the same by the previous owner. He did ad the booster. The pedal travels fairly close to the floor prior to engagement, but then stops with power.
In the photos, the two lines parallel to each other go to the front brakes, opposite to back, top to MC. I still need to buy the two "swirlies" that attach to the new MC. So since I'll have five inputs into the distribution block (DB), just get a new one that accepts five or would the two lines from the MC merge before going into the DB. Hopefully the photos will help. Thanks in advance to any and all.
