i got a 360 block and crank. had the block machined and the crank polished. my problem is i have no bearing for the main or the rods. can anyone help me and tell me on how to measure for the correct bearings. everyone telling me to buy standard bearing them measure then buy the on i need. i really dony want to spend the money on bearing i might need.

Who did the work? They should know. OR did you get the crank allready done? If so, bring it to a machine shop and tell'em what it is and they'll measure it.

Either talk to the shop that did the work (they should know) or have a local shop measure the journals for you. You might want to order the bearings through them too if it's not the shop that did the work. Then they make a little off the effort.

Agreed, the crank needs to be mic-ed/measured. Once measured then the bearings can be ordered to the size of the journals.
No need to buy the bearings twice, just once after you get the crank measured.

thanks for the input i will send it to them when i get my pistion mated to my rods
