Carb options for a 360, opinions?

A Holley,or a Carter will work... Normally I prefer a Holley 3310 herw,not too often,you see an original Competition Series AFB.... I still, would try the AFB.... It's paid for,four fasteners isn't a lot of time....

Holley is certainly easier to tune and work on and I've always felt more seat of the pants performance from them. Which by design makes sense.

Your idea of trying both is the best. You'll get to decide based on first hand, real world experience.
