Do 318 poly crankshafts fit in the LA series motors?

62-66 Poly cranks fit no problem and they are forged as well. 61 and earlier do not due to the extended flange. I guess if you used an adapter such as for the Gen I Hemi early poly cranks "might" fit.

I believe you are correct!

62 and later are six bolt. I have a couple under the bench in the shop.

Polys have a narrower journal cause the rods were thinner on the big end. I had to have a couple widened Kim

I wonder if with a narrower rod journal the longer Chevrolet rods could be adapted? I need longer rods for my de-stroker motor.
