Anyway you look at it that is a very cool and unique looking ride. Let us know what times it runs in the quarter mile and what octane do you run?

Thanks guys, this combo with a smaller convertor and 3.9 ran 11.20 n/a in a valiant coupe (dodge dart to you guys ) if I can run close to that ill be happy

Here we run 91,95 and 98 octane at pumps our ratings are different to yours so not sure what that equates to
I will run 98 with octane booster

Anti-Knock Index (AKI)

In most countries, including Australia and all of those in Europe, the "headline" octane rating shown on the pump is the RON, but in Canada, the United States and some other countries, like Brazil, the headline number is the average of the RON and the MON, called the Anti-Knock Index (AKI, and often written on pumps as (R+M)/2). It may also sometimes be called the Pump Octane Number (PON).

Difference between RON and AKI

The octane rating shown in the United States is 4 to 5 points lower than the rating shown elsewhere in the world for the same fuel. See the table in the following section for a comparison.

So our 98 is about the same as the US 94.

BTW - welcome to the aussie 390 club on A Bodies.

hey guys a bit of an update,
in street trim pipes on the ute has run 12.30 at 110.
street trim, pipes off carb jetted to suit its run 11.57 @ 114. with a best 60 foot of 1.58.

what's the 0-100kph with the stroker???

Are you using a new alumium radiator? I'm still trying to find the right size
radiator for my Charger, it's a VH.

And where did you get the Gilmer belt and pulleys???

Thanks mate
