Early Magnum intake

Has anyone used a carb on an early Magnum intake ? Blocking off the fuel injector ports of coarse, I would like to use it on my 84 Dodge 4-door tow vehicle. Any info ? Thanks

I did it to test an engine..............I believe the adapter spacer I used was an "upside down" spread bore to square bore adapter"

You will need a LA style distributor for ignition, and something for an ignition box

How did it run ? Did anyone use this set-up on a driver ? I am thinking of milling out a larger hole for a small 4-bbl. I have the hood clearence on my 1 ton pickup.

I don't think it's worth the effort when when you can get the Chinese carb manifold for around $210 shipped. It's good enough for a low budget swap. Just gets complicated when trying to keep Magnum serpentine drive and air conditionng compressor.

I just did this to test fire the engine, didn't run it long enough to judge, and wasn't in a vehicle
