We travelled over to Detroit, & picked it up today. Shipping/brokerage fees to Canada would've been high.
We plan to start taking the current motor out on Monday.
I can tell you the sucker looks good with Eddy heads & aluminum valve covers. Those heads alone would cost about $2,000 Canadian. The block is black, and I just might leave it since the other accents on the car are black. It was originally a 318 car anyways. I'll be beadblasting my sixpack intake, and use it on this new engine.
The dyno sheet that came with it shows 500 peak tq, & 467 HP. I obviously can't verify if it was this particular engine, even though it fits the serial #.
So obviously, it was a happy day for me.
Now...I just hope it turns out to be a good purchase (crate engine=scary.lol).
